Terra Nova floater remains quayside in eastern Canada

The upgraded Terra Nova FPSO arrived back in Newfoundland waters during the first quarter, but the production restart has been delayed.

CALGARY, Canada  The upgraded Terra Nova FPSO arrived back in Newfoundland waters during the first quarter, but the production restart has been delayed.

Operator Suncor Energy said it had identified a need for further maintenance and commissioning activities to ensure full confidence in the safety and reliability of the facility before operations can resume.

The work is currently taking place quayside.
