Terra Nova floater remains quayside in eastern Canada

CALGARY, Canada — The upgraded Terra Nova FPSO arrived back in Newfoundland waters during the first quarter, but the production restart has been delayed.

Operator Suncor Energy said it had identified a need for further maintenance and commissioning activities to ensure full confidence in the safety and reliability of the facility before operations can resume.

The work is currently taking place quayside.
