DALLAS, Texas — Kosmos Energy says the FPSO for the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim gas development is back at the quayside of the COSCO shipyard in China.
Last Friday Typhoon Muifa caused the vessel to drift about 200 m into open water.
Project operator bp says inspections to date have not identified significant damage. Further inspections and the findings will be incorporated into the remaining work scope prior to sailaway to the field location offshore Mauritania/Senegal.
