Offshore staff
SINGAPORE – Strategic Marine has delivered two 27-m (88.6-ft) crew transfer vessels to UK-based support vessel provider WEM Marine, which services the offshore wind market.
Both vessels were designed to meet WEM’s requirements for deployments in the UK and other European waters.
They are each powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines driving fixed pitch propellers, and can accommodate 24 technicians and three crew, with personnel transfer to wind turbines is facilitated via a patented active fendering system.
