PAPENDRECHT, the Netherlands Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. has secured multiple heavy marine transport services contracts with a combined value of about $120 million.

Following last year’s transport of a sizable box-shaped FPSO, Boskalis secured a contract to transport a similar FPSO from China to Brazil. Weighing more than 91,000 tons this marks another record-breaking transport for the BOKA Vanguard, the company said. It is scheduled to start at the end of 2019.

The company also secured a contract to transport various large LNG modules from a fabrication yard in China to Russia. The contract ties up the two open-stern heavy transport vessels Blue Marlin and Black Marlin. It is expected to start in 2Q 2021.

In addition, Boskalis won the contract to transport an FPSO from the fabrication yard in China to the North Sea in 2021 and transport two floating production systems from Singapore to the Gulf of Mexico in the period 2021-2022. These cargoes will be transported on the White Marlin and Blue Marlin.
