DOF Subsea wins call-off for MBE and AUV survey services

DOF Subsea Norway AS has a call-off on an existing survey frame agreement with Statoil Petroleum AS for multi-beam echosounder (MBE) inspection and AUV survey services in the North Sea.

BERGEN, Norway – DOF Subsea Norway AS has a call-off on an existing survey frame agreement with Statoil Petroleum AS for multi-beam echosounder (MBE) inspection and AUV survey services in the North Sea. 

The call-off has a firm period of 50 days in addition to optional services and will be performed this summer. The scope of work includes vessel-based MBE pipeline inspection in shallow waters, deepwater AUV pipeline surveying, as well as AUV coral mapping. Project execution will be handled by DOF Subsea’s operating center in Bergen, Norway. The offshore support and ROV vessel,Libas, will be mobilized. 

DOF Subsea has recently completed a successful AUV pipeline inspection outside the North Sea. The AUV will be transferred to the North Sea to perform the pipeline survey for this Statoil scope.
