Statoil to overhaul floater moorings offshore Norway

STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil (OSE:STL) has contracted DOF Subsea Norway AS for mooring installations on two Norwegian Sea platforms.

DOF Subsea’s support vesselSkandi Skolten will be used to change out mooring segments this summer on the Njord B FSU and Norne FPSO installations while both are in production.

Offshore operations are expected to last about 40 days.
