GLOUCESTER, UK — AIS will provide its ContraTherm C25 insulation for a subsea development in the presalt Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
This will apply to the pipeline end terminations, inline anchors and jumpers, and will be the company’s first customized coating project managed by a full Brazilian crew.
According to AIS, the client chose C25 for it to provide flow assurance to complex subsea equipment in HP/HT environments. In this project, the water depth is about 2,000 m.
Work will take place during several campaigns.
