EDG awarded Talos' Ram Powell upgrades for two GoM subsea tiebacks

EDG has recently been awarded a topside modification contract by Talos Energy for the Ram Powell platform to accommodate the Venice and Lime Rock subsea tiebacks in the US Gulf of Mexico.

Among its offshore upstream projects, EDG Inc. executed a two-well, 56-mile, gas tieback to a Gulf of Mexico deepwater spar facility.

METAIRIE, Louisiana — EDG has recently been awarded a topside modification contract by Talos Energy for the Ram Powell platform to accommodate the Venice and Lime Rock subsea tiebacks in the US Gulf of Mexico (GoM).

EDG will be responsible for the engineering and design of the platform additions, including all equipment integration, piping, structural, instrumentation, and electrical additions and modifications.
