BRISTOL, U.K.  Rovco will perform survey work for a third successive year around the Beatrice offshore wind farm in the Outer Moray Firth, northeast Scotland.

Beatrice is owned by four companies, including SSE Renewables and Red Rock Power.

Rovco’s program, starting this month, involves survey work on all interarray cable and subsea jacket locations across Beatrice. The purpose includes delivering insights for planning of potential preventative maintenance and remedial works.

The project will use the Glomar Worker DPII vessel, equipped with a work-class ROV, SubSLAM X2 and associated survey tooling, and PanGeo Subsea’s 3D Sub-Bottom Imager to perform cable depth of burial assessments.

Rovco will manage the program from its operational base in Scotland.
