YORK, UK – C-Kore Systems has completed an umbilical monitoring program on the Balder Future project in the Norwegian North Sea for operator Vår Energi.
The company deployed its cable monitor units to test the insulation resistance and continuity of the umbilical electrical lines during installation.
The systems repeatedly tested and data-logged measurements of cable integrity, reducing the testing time required, C-Kore said.
