Seatrium has delivered the Vali, its fourth jackup on order from Borr Drilling, roughly a year ahead of schedule.
The KFELS Super B Class rig is designed to operate in water depths of up to 400 ft and to subsurface depths down to 35,000 ft. It can also drill deep wells vertically and horizontally.
Its cantilever structure offers a maximum combined load of 3,700 kips and includes a fully automated high capacity rack and pinion jacking system, Seatrium said. Vali can accommodate a crew of 150.
The first three rigs in the order were novated by Borr Drilling to ADNOC Drilling, and they too have been delivered. All were built at Seatrium’s Pioneer Yard in Singapore.
