Shelf Drilling has agreed to sell the Baltic jackup to an unnamed buyer for $60 million.

The rig is about to mobilize to Southeast Asia, having just completed a contract offshore West Africa.

The undisclosed buyer plans to deploy it for a multi-year P&A program in Southeast Asia, with Shelf Drilling providing rig management and operations support for the campaign.

Subject to customary closing conditions, the transaction should complete in late August.
