Borr gets firm drilling contracts for two rigs

Borr Drilling has secured new contracts for its Prospector 1 and Gunnlod jackups as well as a further contract for a rig, as yet unassigned.

HAMILTON, BermudaBorr Drilling secured new contracts earlier this week for its Prospector 1 and Gunnlod jackups as well as a further contract for a rig, as yet unassigned.

Commitments total 820 days of operations and $158.6 million in revenues, including mobilization and demobilization.

In the North Sea, multiple contracts are underway with a combined length of 250 days. 

In Southeast Asia, Borr has a one-well commitment for a 90-day program that is set to start next month.

The third campaign is due to start between late 2024 and early 2025, with an estimated duration of 480 days.
