KRISTIANSAND, Norway—Siem AHTS Pool AS, a subsidiary of Siem Offshore Inc., has announced that Equinor Energy AS in Norway has declared a three-month option for the Siem Opalanchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) from September.
In December 2021, Equinor awarded Siem AHTS Pool AS a six-month contract for the Siem Opal AHTS vessel. The contract was scheduled to start during March-April 2022.
The vessel will continue to support the client's various rig move activities during drilling campaigns.
