Topsides integration under way on Marlim FPSO

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia Yinson has issued an update on the construction of Petrobras’ FPSO Anna Nery.

The company is converting the VLCC Falcon to the FPSO Anna Nery that will be installed on Petrobras’ Marlim field in the Campos basin, 150 km (93 mi) offshore Brazil. Water depth is about 930 m (3,051 ft).

Upon completion of repair and life extension works at Cosco Changxing, the vessel recently moved to Cosco Qidong where topsides module integration and testing have started.

According to Yinson, the FPSO is on track for completion in 2023.

The FPSO Anna Nery will be capable of processing 70,000 b/d of oil and 4 MMcm/d of gas. Production is expected to start in 2023. The vessel is expected to operate for 25 years.
