MARSEILLE, France – ADNOC Logistics & Services has contracted Opsealog to apply its performance management service Marinsights to ADNOC’s Middle East offshore support vessels.
Following a positive five-month proof-of-concept trial last year with 11 vessels, Opsealog has signed a multi-year deal to deploy Marinsights service throughout the 70-strong fleet, which includes platform supply, anchor handling tug supply, and fast support intervention vessels.
Marinsights monitors and optimizes marine offshore operations, combining data integration and visualization with Opsealog’s consultancy support.
Results, the company claims, are fuel, emissions and cost savings, and improved fleet use. During last year’s trial, ADNOC Logistics & Services managed a 12% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, representing 572 cu m (20,200 cu ft) of fuel and 1,519 metric tons (1,674 tons) of CO2.
The vessels division provides support to Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas’ supply chain, including operations monitoring and fleet performance optimization.
