Cameron McNatt

Cameron McNatt is founder and managing director with Mocean Energy.

Since 2016, as managing director, he and co-founder Chris Retzler have led Mocean Energy developing novel ocean energy technologies with application in oil and gas, power for islands and other sectors.

McNatt has master's degree in ocean engineering from Oregon State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to undertaking these post-graduate studies, he worked as a naval architect writing software for ship simulations. He also has a bachelor's degree from Yale University, majoring in electrical engineering, and is a keen sailor who has crossed the Atlantic under sail.

McNatt says he loves the ocean, cool technology and working with others to try to make the world a better place.
