INVERGORDON, UK — Sarens PSG, a joint venture between Sarens and PSG Marine & Logistics, has entered an agreement with offshore IRM/asset integrity specialist Aventus Energy concerning an integrated port marshalling service for the offshore wind sector.

This would deliver integrated services that would target reduced interfaces and costs as well as minimized project risk.

Sarens PSG provides turnkey heavy lifting and transport services to offshore wind projects, including port marshalling, floating wind deployment and WTG integration services.

It is currently executing a port marshalling contract in Invergordon, northeast Scotland, for the Moray West offshore wind farm that involves the load in, marshalling and load out of what are said to be the largest and heaviest XXL monopiles ever handled in the UK.

Aventus Energy is already supporting Sarens PSG on this project with services such as protective coatings, inspection and NDE, steel fabrication and installation, and rope access systems.
