MADRID  BlueFloat Energy has partnered with OffshoreWind4Kids to promote offshore wind technologies among younger generations.

The EOLYMAR consortium, formed by BlueFloat Energy, Sumitomo Corp. Europe Ltd. and Akuo, held recently hosted a workshop in France with students from Port Saint Louis du Rhône who experienced first-hand the assembling and installation of wind turbines models in the waters of Carteau beach.

"We believe this collaboration inspires children and students to expand their knowledge of wind power and renewable energy, raising awareness about the energy transition and its challenges. With huge interest from the young generation for offshore wind, we are looking into a greener future with enthusiasm," BlueFloat Energy posted on its LinkedIn today.

BlueFloat will also host a demo day with OffshoreWind4Kids at its booth during Students Day at WindEurope 2023 in Copenhagen, providing another opportunity for people to get a first-hand experience in offshore wind.
