Equinor has awarded Ramco Norway a long-term contract covering the preparation, inspection, surface treatment and preservation of oil country tubular goods (OCTG).
Ramco said it has been allocated 100% of Equinor’s OCTG needs in the ports of Sandnessjøen and Hammerfest. The company will respond by establishing a new department at the Polarbase oil and gas supply center in Hammerfest to support Equinor’s expanding operations in the Barents Sea.
The new contract runs for five years, with options to extend until 2033. Ramco has been working with Equinor in Norway since 2008.
