Anasuria Hibiscus gets more time for North Sea Fyne preparations

Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has approved Anasuria Hibiscus UK’s request to extend the second term of offshore license P2451 to Sept. 30, 2026.
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has approved Anasuria Hibiscus UK’s request to extend the second term of offshore license P2451 to Sept. 30, 2026.
One condition of the 30-month extension is that the company must have achieved an approved field development plan and production consent by the expiry date.
Anasuria Hibiscus has a 42.5% interest, in partnership with Ping Petroleum UK (42.5%) and Rapid Oil Production (15%). They plan a 10-mile tieback of the 75-MMboe Fyne oil and gas discovery to the Anasuria FPSO.
