Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has extended Petrofac’s contract to support its North Sea operations by three years, under a deal valued at more than $100 million.
ABERDEEN, UK—Repsol Sinopec Resources UK has extended Petrofac’s contract to support its North Sea operations by three years, under a deal valued at more than $100 million.
It covers continued provision of operations and maintenance services.
The two companies have been working together in the UK sector since 2016, with the work scope growing steadily. In 2020 Repsol Sinopec awarded six further North Sea assets to Petrofac.
The company is employing a team of more than 300 across the Arbroath, Auk, Bleo Holm, Claymore, Clyde, Fulmar, Montrose, Piper, Saltire and Tartan facilities, also providing support to the Flotta Oil Terminal on Orkney and the Nigg Oil Terminal in northeast Scotland.
