ABERDEEN, UK—Ithaca Energy’s Captain Enhanced Oil Recovery Stage l project in the UK central North Sea has produced more than 10 MMbbl through the application of polymer flood technology, the company revealed in its latest results statement.
Development activity continues at the Captain Field in the Outer Moray Firth, with construction to support the EOR Phase II project and platform drilling operations.
In the same region, the company produced first oil last month from the Abigail subsea tieback to the FPF-1 floating production unit in the Greater Stella area.
Pre-FID work is progressing for the Cambo and Rosebank oilfield developments west of Shetland and Marigold and Fotla in the central North Sea, with a focus on costs, maturing engineering, and establishing commercial and contractual frameworks.
