Azule Energy has awarded Saipem an $850 million engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation contract for the Ndungu Field development offshore Angola.

MILAN, Italy Azule Energy has awarded Saipem an $850 million engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation contract for the Ndungu Field development offshore Angola.

This forms part of the Agogo Integrated West Hub Project, 180 km offshore in Block 15/06.

Saipem’s scope of work covers about 60 km of rigid pipelines and the subsea facilities in a water depth of about 1,100 m, and transportation and installation of flexible flowlines, jumpers and 17 km of umbilicals.

The company will perform fabrication at its Ambriz yard in Angola, with Saipem's FDS vessel likely to managing transportation and laying of the rigid pipelines.
