LONDON — Tullow Oil expects to bring onstream three new producer wells and two water injectors at the deepwater Jubilee Field offshore Ghana this year.
Two of the producers came online in February, the company said in a results statement, lifting overall oil production above 100,000 bbl/d.
The drilling campaign should end around mid-year, which is six months ahead of schedule.
At the nearby TEN Field, the partners plan to focus on minimizing production declines through improved pressure support and to commercialize the gas resource.
On the exploration licences CI-524 and CI-803 offshore Cote d’Ivoire, Tullow is maturing a prospects inventory ahead of choosing the location for a potential exploration well in 2025.
