JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Technip Energies has reportedly entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Petroleum Corp. of Namibia (NAMCOR) at the Africa Energy Week conference in Johannesburg.

The two parties plan to collaborate on development of two large oil discoveries offshore Namibia drilled earlier this year, which are operated by Shell and TotalEnergies.

NAMCOR CEO Immanuel Mulunga and Loic Chapuis, Technip Energies senior vice president of Gas and Low Carbon Energy, signed the MoU.

The company would assist NAMCOR in the development, providing technology services that would reportedly help bring the finds onstream as soon as possible.
