Enauta has issued an update on its Atlanta oilfield development in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.

Following the completion of anchoring operations at the FPSO Atlanta in June, the first producing well and all its service lines connections are in place.

The connection process for the second producer, which will allow production to start on the new platform, should finish in the next few weeks, with connection of the four remaining produces to follow.

However, strikes just announced by public officials of regulatory agencies may impact the start of production schedule.

Due to the uncertainty, Enauta has opted to postpone the early system return of production through the FPSO Petrojarl for the next fortnight.
