VIENNA, Austria – OMV has completed the sale of its 50% stake in the Ashtart oil field in the Gulf of Gabes, and a similar stake in the operating company SEREPT, to Perenco.
Last year OMV’s net production from the field averaged 3,000 boe/d.
Tunisia’s national oil company, ETAP, will continue to hold the remaining 50% of SEREPT.
