VANCOUVER, Canada — Trillion Energy is working on a program to optimize production from the SASB gas field in the Turkish sector of the Black Sea.
The aim is to ensure that all six of the recently drilled and completed wells can produce concurrently on a managed basis.
This week, a booster compressor will be added at the Cayagzi gas process facility to reduce the inlet pressure from the present 125-135 psi to 50-60 psi. Upgrades should increase production across the wells by 4.9 MMcf/d to 5.3 MMcf/d.
Next month Trillion is planning the perforation of 37 m of additional pay in three of the wells.
Other planned measures are installation of artificial lift in two wells to reduce water loading. Once the optimal design is confirmed and tested, electric submersible pumps will be fitted in all wells that could benefit from artificial lift to maintain long-term production.
The company has engaged an engineering firm to make recommendations on optimizing production and facility operations.
