Injection issues slowing production from North Sea Nova Field

TRONDHEIM, Norway — Wintershall Dea Norge expects issues with water injectors at the newly onstream Nova Field in the Norwegian North Sea to restrict production through the end of next year.

However, according to partner OKEA, there is no indication that these issues will impact the estimated 90-MMboe recoverable reserves.

Nova is a two-subsea template tieback to the Neptune Energy-operated Gjoa semisubmersible platform.
