HONG KONG – CNOOC has started production from the offshore Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field pilot area development in China’s central Bohai region.
The facilities, in an average water depth of around 23 m (75.5 ft), include a new wellhead platform connected to processing infrastructure serving the Bozhong 13-1 oilfield.
CNOOC plans a total of seven production wells and one water source well, with peak production of 35.32 MMcf/d of gas and 5,720 b/d of condensate oil by the end of this year.
