RIO DE JANEIRO – Aggregate production from the Parque das Baleias Area in the Campos basin offshore Brazil has reached 1 Bbbl.
Petrobras operates the field cluster of Jubarte, Baleia Anã, Cachalote, Caxaréu and Pirambú. Jubarte was the first to be discovered, in 2001, and currently has the fourth highest production rate of any field offshore Brazil.
Currently, four FPSOs are operating on the fields, connected to 44 producing wells and 21 injectors.
During 1Q 2020, production from Parque das Baleias averaged 222,000 b/d of oil and 6 MMcm/d of gas, with 71% of output from presalt reservoirs.
