OSLO, Norway ā€“ Irregularities have come to light during an audit of Equinor Energy and its management of accident risk and barriers on the Troll A platform in the Norwegian North Sea.

Norwayā€™s Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) conducted the review between Jan. 16 and March 11, 2020.

The audit identified non-conformities regarding capacity and competence and labeling of equipment on the installation.

In addition, the PSA has drawn up a list of five as improvement points concerning uncertainties in documents describing the organizational model; moisture in emergency lighting; fire resistance; explosion pressure; and site-specific expertise.

Equinor must reply on how it will address the non-conformities by May 15.
