The facilities, responsible for much of Iraq’s oil export, are 60 km (37 mi) offshore the Al Fao Peninsula in southern Iraq.
They comprise a central metering and manifold platform and four single point moorings that facilitate oil export onto crude carrier tankers.
In addition, Petrofac is responsible for almost 300 km (186 mi) of subsea pipelines, 1,800 m (5,905 ft) of subsea hose infrastructure, and a marine spread of 14 vessels.
SincePetrofac first became involved in the project in 2012, the facilities have exported more than 2.2 Bbbl of oil.
