The ocean-bottom node (OBN) survey will start next January and continue for two and a half months over the Louro and Mostarda fields.

TotalEnergies has commissioned Shearwater Geoservices to acquire a deepwater ocean-bottom node (OBN) survey in Block 32 offshore Angola.

Shearwater will deploy the SW Tasman seismic node laying vessel, converted last year and equipped with two ROVs, with the SW Gallien as the source vessel.

The survey, using the Pearl compact node, will start next January and continue for two and a half months over the Louro and Mostarda fields. Shearwater previously conducted a 4D streamer survey over these fields for the same operator.
