PGS rearranges seismic survey schedules

The Ramform Victory has started seismic data acquisition for a multiclient project in the Norwegian Sea.

OSLO, Norway  The Ramform Victory vessel has started seismic data acquisition for a multiclient project in the Norwegian Sea, according to PGS’ latest operations update.

The vessel had been due to work on a large 4D contract offshore Brazil around mid-year but will now likely sail from Norway for the program in late August. Departure has been deferred to avoid the risk of standby time in Brazil.

Following a recent termination of a contract for Ramform Titan, the vessel is now mobilizing for another multiclient survey offshore Egypt, due to begin later this month. Acquisition should take about 40 days to complete.
