Petrobras books Shearwater Geo for two Campos Basin 4D surveys

BERGEN, Norway – Petrobras has contracted Shearwater GeoServices to acquire 4D seismic surveys over the Jubarte and Tartaruga Verde fields in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

The first contract involves a second 4D monitor survey over the Jubarte (Humpback) and Baleia Anã fields, and it is set to start during third-quarter 2023.

Shearwater’s second contract covers acquisition of a high-resolution baseline 4D survey, and gravity/ magnetic measurements, over the Tartaruga Verde (Green Turtle) field. The survey should get underway early next year.
