OSLO, Norway – The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate plans to update its geochemical database for the North Sea twice per year.
This will incorporate results from wells recently released in Diskos, the Norwegian data repository petroleum data.
The newest update will include 1,215 new samples from 29 wells.
Access to a quality-secured database, the NPD said, helps Norwegian E&P companies use geochemical evaluations to improve their understanding of the petroleum systems.
