TGS starts latest 3D survey offshore Brazil

HOUSTON – TGS has started acquisition of the Santos multi-client 3D Phase 4 survey offshore Brazil.

The location is over the western portion of the Santos basin.

This will serve as a northwest extension of the existing Santos 3D, covering around 5,000 sq km (1,931 sq mi) and is designed to enhance geological understanding of the area and to maximize the potential for deepwater discoveries.

Full-volume fast track data will be available in March 2022, with final data expected in October 2022.
