HOUSTON – VAALCO Energy expects to complete a 3D seismic survey before year-end over the Etame Marin block offshore Gabon.
Processed results, due to follow in 4Q 2021, will assist planning for future drilling campaigns.
The full-field survey should optimize future drilling locations, provide improved imaging of satellite and infill locations, and help identification of further upside opportunities.
VAALCO estimates the full cost of acquisition and processing at $12-15 million.
