TRONDHEIM, Norway – EMGS has had to cancel a planned controlled source electromagnetic seismic survey offshore Mauritania and Senegal that had been due to start this month.
The operator decided to postpone the project, EMGS understands, due to the repercussions of the spread of COVID-19. All further mobilization activities are accordingly being halted.
EMGS does not expect to be able to find alternative work for the vessel to replace this project.
