StatoilHydro has awarded Aibel an EPCI contract to upgrade the mud system on the Oseberg C platform.

STAVANGER -- StatoilHydro has awarded Aibel an EPCI contract to upgrade the mud system on the Oseberg C platform. The contract covers project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation work, both on- and offshore.
Work starts immediately and will be managed from Aibel's facilities in Haugesund. The installation period for Phase 1 is expected to start in October 2009. Phase II, involving the installation of a new high-pressure mud pump and two new mud tanks, is due to start around a year later.
