Western Isles takes in the Harris and Barra oil fields, 160 km (99.4 mi) east of Shetland and 12 km (7.45 mi) west of the TAQA-operated Tern field. It involves a subsea development of at least five production and four water injection wells tied back to a newFPSO, with oil exported via shuttle tankers.
