LAGOS, Nigeria – ADM Energy has issued an update on planning for a new multi-phase development of the Aje field offshore Nigeria.

The main components of the initial phase are two new oil wells and a gas injector well which could lift gross production to 9,000 b/d of oil and liquids.

The wells would be tied-back to the Aje field FPSO (Front Puffin) via a subsea manifold at the existing drill center.

ADM has examined the feasibility of using existing subsea hardware where possible for the new wells Aje-6 and Aje-7, subject to an integrity inspection.

Analysis suggests any potential topsides cost and control system hardware compatibility could be reduced if the same type of subsea control module were used for the two wells as on the existing tree.
