STAVANGER, Norway – Equinor has completed a transaction involving the transfer of operatorship and a 40.8125% interest in the Bressay heavy oil field to EnQuest.
Bressay, in the northern North Sea, is one of the UK’s largest undeveloped fields. EnQuest is working on a subsea tieback through its Kraken field FPSO.
Equinor retains a 40.8125% stake, the remainder is held by Chrysaor (18.375%).
