Archer lands long-term drilling contract at North Sea Brage field

OKEA has awarded Archer a five-year platform drilling contract worth an estimated NOK 850 million (US$79.2 million) for the Brage field in the Norwegian North Sea.

The term could be extended by a further two years.

Archer will provide workover and drilling operations, well maintenance, and drilling facilities engineering, with work starting at the end of this year.

OKEA brought onstream the Talisker east well through the Brage platform in the Norwegian North Sea earlier this year, according to its trading update released in July.
