Equinor lengthens Peregrino drilling deal offshore Brazil

Equinor has awarded Archer a new two-year contract for platform drilling services at the Peregrino heavy oil field in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

The $40-milllion program will start in November in direct continuation of Archer’s current drilling operations and maintenance contract.

The company supports drilling operations on both platforms and has assisted Equinor at Peregrino since 2008.
