PORTLETHEN, UK— Turan Drilling & Engineering, a subsidiary of KCA Deutag and SOCAR AQS, has gained a two-year extension to drilling operations and maintenance services offshore Azerbaijan, valued at $300 million.
Under the extension, which takes effect from April 2024, Turan will continue to provide drilling operations and maintenance, procurement and warehouse management services for eight offshore platforms.
The company was formed in mid-2018. SOCAR AQS is an integrated drilling and well services management company created in 2007 by SOCAR, Nobel Energy and Absheron Qazma LLC.
