DUBAI, UAE – Chevron has contracted the Shelf Drilling jackup Shelf Drilling Enterprise for operations in the Gulf of Thailand.
The program is due to start this August and continue through April 2022, with an option to extend.
Shelf Drilling, which recently acquired the rig from Maersk Drilling, estimates the value of the contract’s firm period, including mobilization revenue, at $59 million.
