COPENHAGEN, Denmark – MOL Norge has contracted the Maersk Drilling jackup Maersk Interceptor for an exploration well on license PL617 in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
The $16.5-million contract is due to start in August 2020, with an estimated duration of 60 days. The Maersk Interceptor is a harsh environment CJ70 XLE jackup, designed for year-round operations in the North Sea. It was delivered in 2013 and currently operates offshore Norway.
